Your Children’s Bookshelf believes that EVERY child's success ties to reading

Your Children's Bookshelf is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to providing FREE children's books through our Donors and Program Partners to families & children in-need; encouraging the love of reading and providing equitable access to books helping foster literacy and education.

From the initial spark in 2012 and inspired by Children's author Mary Jane Miller, we set out to provide books for those that usually have none. Every step we have taken and every page we have turned has led us to where we are today. From our partnerships with Non-Profit Family and Children Service Organizations, to the building of our diverse and committed board and the reach of our volunteers, Your Children's Bookshelf was formed to reflect the communities we serve.
